Financially, you can certainly enjoy a great ROI. And one of the easiest ways to increase your ROI is to avoid paying roughly 8% of your revenue to a Franchisor for the rest of your life. Let’s talk about territory. By starting without a franchise, you also are not limited by a territory. You may see opportunities for growth in an area far outside of the area that you license from a franchisor, but if you are tied to them, you will face restrictions in going for that business. Starting your own independent agency does not have that limitation.
